Representatives from Fort St John where in Calgary today to present WestJet with the results of their campaign it just makes sense.

It was part of regional day at the airline headquarters in Calgary where over 30 communities came to present a similar business case.

City councilors Trevor Bolin and Gord Klassen along with Darren Thompson from the tourism board and Brent Hodson from the chamber of commerce presented this video to west jet this morning.

The tag line it just makes sense came from one of the John Macleod, vice-president of network management and alliances for WestJet when he was speaking to mayor Lori Ackerman sometime last year.

Brent Hodson president of the Fort St John chamber of commerce says when they presented the information to west jet it appears it was nothing new.

Hodson says it WE won’t know if WestJet is coming to the Peace until at least January.

Dawson Creek did not attend the west jet headquarters today, Mayor Mike Bernier did however say he met with them privately 2 weeks ago.
