Canyonspeak is a varied offering recorded live at the magnificent site of the Mesa Verde cliff dwellings in southern Colorado. Birds, wind and other sounds of the canyon filter in and out as we hear poignant flute solos, powerful chants featuring Navajo singer James Bilagody, drums and rattles, and an opening and closing recitation honoring and invoking the spirit of this ancient place.
