Eric Kloss recorded 11 albums as a leader for Prestige during 1965-70, starting when he was 16. A superior post-bop altoist, the blind Kloss showed that he was able to hold his own with musicians much better-known than himself, but unfortunately he sunk into obscurity after 1981.
