The Yardbirds - Having a Rave Up [Having a Rave Up+16]

Japanese Victor Corporation, better known as JVC, has issued their own remastered versions of The Yardbirds' classic mid-'60s recordings -- including Having A Rave Up -- independently of Repertoire Records' digipack-style reissues. The most obvious difference is their mini-LP sleeve packaging; but the JVC producers have also radically altered the song content of their Having A Rave Up CD, in recognition of the fact that the original U.S.-released LP's second side consisted of four live tracks taken from Five Live Yardbirds, which hadn't been issued in the U.S., but which does exist as a CD from JVC. Read More
