Don't dismiss Paint It Black as a typical wannabe punk band looking to capitalize on the new-millennium wave of angst rock. Their debut album, Cva, is layered with the classic high-speed percussion, throaty vocals, and aggressive presentation found in contemporary punk revivalists; however, Paint It Black don't lose themselves in the process of rebelling against the corporate machine.
