John Campbell - After Hours

This CD reissue adds "O Grande Amor" to the original nine-song program. The frequently hard-charging pianist John Campbell is in top form in a trio with bassist Todd Coolman and drummer Gerry Gibbs. Other than Terry Gibbs' "Lonely Days," the music is comprised of standards, many (including "Donna Lee," "Relaxin' at Camarillo" and Bud Powell's "Hallucinations") dating from the bebop era.
