Canada Day Celebrations A-go in the Peace

Despite the wet weather, Canada Day Celebrations are a go in Fort St. John. From 10:00 am until 4:00 this afternoon the Classic Cruiser Car show and shine will be held at 100th street from 93rd avenue to 96 Avenue. The parade will goes at 11:00, rain or shine. Events planned for Centenial Park, including the Latin Dance, and the Red Dragon Martial Arts Demo will be held in doors at the north Peace Arena. Organizers hope to hold the Open mic in the park, but may be moved indoors depending in the weather. The fire works are also weather dependent. Of course Canada Day celebrations will be in full swing as well in Pouce Coupe.
