Killing more than 100 people every year on B.C's roadways; Drinking and driving has become an increasingly alarming danger for motorists around the province. So, in an effort to bring awareness of this issue to the general public, the RCMP teamed up with ICBC to remind motorists around the Peace region about the repercussions associated with driving while under the influence. Constable Dwayne Breitkreutz (BryK-ry-TZ) with Peace Region Traffic Services, says anyone who chooses to drink and drive, should be ready to pay the price. The RCMP will be out in full force during the summer months to enforce counterAttack roadchecks throughout the Peace region.
