C-bank, an electro studio project by production and remix legend John Robie (Afrika Bambaataa, New Order, Cabaret Voltaire), was led by vocalist Jenny Burton (b. Nov. 18, 1957). Robie and Burton took the group into the R&B charts in 1983 with the synth-heavy barnstormer "One More Shot." Later that year, however, Burton went out on her own with the Top 20 single "Remember What You Like" on Atlantic. C-bank's label, Next Plateau, scrounged enough material for a Greatest Hits compilation almost 15 years later. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
