Magic joined the No Limit army in 1998, aligning himself closely with C-murder and the short-lived Tru Records sublabel. During No Limit's heyday, C-murder recorded a pair of albums -- Sky's The Limit (1998) and Thuggin' (1999) -- and then remained inactive for a few years as Master P dismantled his army, dismissing most everyone except family, a few select producers, and Magic.
